LIFE ON THE VINE is a postmodern church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We gather to share ancient and future stories of the wonders of God, as revealed in Scripture and worked out in our lives. We value Christian community, hospitality, evangelism, the arts, meaningful rituals, helpful traditions, confession, discipleship, prayer, healing, and justice. Our Long Grove church is somewhat emergent, progressively evangelical, and admittedly unusual for the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Neighboring suburbs include Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich, Vernon Hills, Wheeling, Cary, Palatine, Crystal Lake, Deerfield, Libertyville, and Arlington Heights, Illinois.
